Each member of MorningGroup's management team has more than ten years experience in the IT industry, spent either at leading financial markets companies or large management consulting firms. This has given the company's decision makers a first-hand understanding of the forces that shape the industry and the professional skills required to implement rapid and lasting change.

Michael Roberts - Partner
Michael has spent the past seven years establishing greenfield IT offices. This work has given him a powerful combination of hands-on IT experience and a broad knowledge of business, legal, financial and sales management. His exposure to every aspect of organisational performance and structure provides an excellent understanding of how to deliver superior results for businesses using a powerful combination of the right people and the right technology.

Prior to joining MorningGroup, Michael headed up the US and UK operations for Adaptive International, one of Australia's most successful technology companies. Adaptive International was publicly recognised as one of the country's top five growth companies by Business Review Weekly and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Under Michael's management, Adaptive's US and UK operations grew to contribute 33 per cent of the company's global revenue and 50 per cent of company profit.

Michael has a degree in Education (majoring in Environmental Science) from Melbourne University in Melbourne, Australia.

Greg Burns - Partner

Greg is an experienced delivery focused Development Manager and Solution Architect with 18 years experience in large scale system design and development. Greg.s passion includes the management of J2EE software development projects / teams and the creation of their Solution Architectures.

Greg has lead large J2EE software development programmes ranging up to $18 million dollars in size and requiring 45 Software Engineers. He grew a J2EE Software Development practice from an initial 6 Software Developers to in excess of 50 in under 6 months, while simultaneously establishing the methodologies and culture required to successfully deliver J2EE development projects.

Greg.s success lies in utilising his knowledge and interpersonal skills to create highly effective teams which are always clearly focused on achieving the end goal.

Greg also has had roles as a Technical Manager of BHP Biliton.s Advanced Systems Design Laboratories, Lead Architecture for Cable and Wireless Optus, Lead Architect for Hong Kong Telecom, and Chief Architect for Integrator Pty Ltd.

Greg has a degree in Computer Engineering (Honours) from Newcastle University, Australia.

Kate Goss - Partner
Kate Goss has been involved in technology commercialisation and the financial markets industry for 10 years. She leads MorningGroup's operations team, acting as a link between the company and clients. Her strong interpersonal skills combined with a thorough understanding of how to maximise business performance through IT make her an invaluable asset for clients.

Kate brings her considerable software sales experience to bear in MorningGroup's operations. Her thorough understanding of the business issues involved in developing mission critical Internet systems and the integration of these systems with enterprise databases and middleware ensures that MorningGroup's clients are always matched to the optimal solution.

Before establishing MorningGroup, Kate founded software company DiMETRO in 2002. DiMETRO is a provider of world-class employee performance and quality management solutions. It develops software that makes it easy to manage employee performance and productivity through comprehensive analysis of data and results.

Prior to joining the IT industry, Kate worked as a licenced securities advisor for Prudential Securities in the marketing and business development of the North American equity markets to residents in the Asia Pacific region.

Kate has a degree in Commerce (majoring in Finance and Economics) from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
